Methodology

Editorial & corrections policy

How this site decides what counts as confirmed, what remains uncertain, and what never gets turned into a “fact” just because it is circulating widely.

Source hierarchy

For film status, the first preference is a primary source: Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures Entertainment, or another directly responsible official publisher. Reputable entertainment trades can document schedule changes, event presentations, interviews, and other developments. Community discussions are used to identify questions and confusion, not as final factual authority.

Confirmed, reported, and unknown are different states

Confirmed is reserved for information directly supported by a responsible primary source or an exceptionally clear authoritative record. Reported is used where reputable independent reporting supports a claim but the primary source is absent or less explicit. Unknown / not announced is used when the evidence does not justify a stronger answer.

Leak policy

We do not host, reproduce, transcribe, or link to leaked movie footage or unauthorized copies. A reputable report that a leak occurred may be used to explain why misleading search results are appearing, but the leaked material itself is not treated as an editorial asset.

Fan-made trailers and edits

A fan-made trailer can be creative and worth enjoying on its own terms, but it is not an official trailer. The site only calls material “official” when its publisher and context support that label.

Corrections

When a factual error is discovered, the intended workflow is to correct the visible page, update the verification date when substantive content actually changes, and record the change in the project measurement log. Dates are not refreshed merely to make old content look new.

Freshness

The homepage displays the date on which its time-sensitive claims were last checked. A visible “updated” date should only move when the underlying content has genuinely been reviewed and, where necessary, changed.

Human accountability still required

The site owner has not supplied a real named editor/publisher, direct contact address, or business identity. We do not fabricate those trust signals. Before a public launch intended to build long-term authority, those real details should be added where appropriate.
